Sales Engineer / Senior
UPS - CRAC - Datacenter
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sell CRAC, RAC, UPS, and all Data Center components, and generate sales opportunities within the assigned sector to achieve customer satisfaction and sales targets.
- Plan and organize weekly sales activities in coordination with the Sales Manager to effectively cover the assigned customer list and follow up on pending deals.
- Identify and prospect new customers who may have interest in the company's products and solutions.
- Visit customers to present VERTIV products and respond to technical and commercial inquiries.
- Participate in preparing quotations, reviewing tender documents, and proposing payment terms for management approval.
- Attend tender meetings and clarify all related technical and commercial questions.
- Coordinate and liaise with consulting engineers whenever required to support project opportunities.
- Conduct customer background investigations and market assessments when requested.
- Present technical catalogs, publications, and drawings to customers and demonstrate the advantages of VERTIV products and solutions.
- Support and participate in the delivery and handover process of UPS, CRAC units, and Data Center solutions to customers when needed.
- Monitor competitors products, pricing, and commercial terms, and report findings in writing to management.
- Collaborate with the After-Sales team to exchange information and coordinate customer support activities.
- Prepare daily activity reports and escalate any challenges or issues to the Sales Manager for timely resolution.
Qualifications:
- UPS / CRAC units / Data Centre and electrical equipment experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably with UPS / CRAC units / Data Center.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the engineering or industrial equipment sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and project locations as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Owning a car is a must.
