Job Title: Sales Engineer Marine / Shipbuilding Industry
Location: Dubai
Working Days: 6 days per week
Reports To: Business Development Manager (BDM)
Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer with strong experience in the marine sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sales within the shipbuilding and ship repair industry and a strong network with ship owners. This role requires someone who can drive business growth, build sustainable client relationships, and contribute to revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the shipbuilding and ship repair market.
- Maintain strong relationships with ship owners, shipyards, and key decision makers.
- Conduct client meetings, technical presentations, and site visits as required.
- Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and support contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide insights to management.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through active field sales and client engagement.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience in marine industry in GCC/ Middle east region specifically in shipbuilding and ship repair or for products and services related to Marine Industry.
- Strong client network, particularly with ship owners and maritime stakeholders.
- Technical understanding of marine engineering solutions and repair services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to manage field sales independently.
