Job Description

Job Purpose

The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for independently managing assigned client accounts, market segments, or territories and for driving opportunities end-to-end for Al Masaood Bergum's modular, prefabricated and similar solutions business.

The role carries direct accountability for opportunity progression, commercial coordination, and deal closure within defined authority limits, requiring sound judgment, technical-commercial understanding, and the ability to resolve moderately complex client and proposal challenges. The role operates with limited supervision and contributes meaningfully to revenue pipeline quality and conversion.

Core Responsibilities:

Sales & Account Ownership

  • Own and manage assigned client accounts, sectors, or territories, acting as the primary commercial contact for modular and prefabricated solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and progress opportunities from lead stage through proposal submission and closure, with accountability for timely movement through the pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, consultants, EPCs, and contractors.

Commercial Authority & Negotiation

  • Conduct commercial negotiations with clients within approved pricing and commercial authority limits, including pricing discussions, scope alignment, and contractual clarifications.
  • Recommend commercial strategies and pricing adjustments for management approval where authority thresholds are exceeded.
  • Maintain accountability for closing opportunities within defined commercial and approval frameworks.

Pipeline & Performance Accountability

  • Maintain independent ownership of a defined sales pipeline, with responsibility for accuracy, forecasting, and progression.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates, risk assessments, and opportunity forecasts to management.
  • Support revenue continuity by ensuring no critical opportunities stall due to lack of follow-up or coordination.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the commercial focal point between clients and internal teams including engineering, estimation, procurement, and project management.
  • Ensure internal alignment on scope, pricing, timelines, and assumptions prior to proposal submission and contract finalization.
  • Support smooth handover from sales to execution teams post-award.

Market & Business Intelligence

  • Monitor market activity, competitor offerings, and client trends within assigned sectors.
  • Provide structured market feedback to management to support pricing strategies, solution development, and business planning.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, commercial guidelines, and approval matrices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to proposals, negotiations, and client communications.

Background & Experience (years)

  • Minimum 4 years in business development, preferably in modular, construction, EPC
  • Market & Business Intelligence
