Summary:
To drive revenue growth by building relationships, managing accounts, and closing deals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identifying new sales opportunities through scheduled meetings, cold calling, and networking.
- Conducting product or service presentations tailored to the needs of clients and prospective customers.
- Power of Negotiating contracts and agreements, ensuring mutual satisfaction and alignment with company goals.
- Strengthening client relationships, and identifying upselling opportunities.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Meeting and exceeding sales quotas, tracking progress using company software, and generating regular performance reports.
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging market opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Preparing and submitting reports on a weekly basis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the shipping industry and preferably from a forwarding background.
- Good Knowledge of the industry, specifically RORO & Break-bulk.
- Should be professional in verbal and written communication.
- Good technical & digital skills.
