Role Description The Senior Sales Manager will lead and develop the sales team, driving growth for Chubb's insurance portfolio in Alexandria, Egypt. This full-time, on-site role includes setting sales strategies, establishing performance targets, and monitoring results to meet revenue and profitability objectives. The Senior Sales Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, agents, and key corporate clients, while identifying new market opportunities and cross-selling insurance products. Daily responsibilities include coaching and mentoring sales staff, collaborating with underwriting and operations teams to align offerings with client needs, preparing sales forecasts and reports, and ensuring adherence to Chubb's compliance and ethical standards. The role also involves representing Chubb at industry events, supporting marketing initiatives, and continuously improving sales processes and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Sales leadership and management skills, including team coaching, performance monitoring, and the ability to drive sales results.
- Business development and relationship management capabilities to cultivate brokers, agents, and key clients and expand the customer base.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders and closing complex insurance deals.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills to interpret market data, develop sales strategies, and prepare accurate forecasts and reports.
- Knowledge of insurance products and markets, preferably in property and casualty or related lines, and familiarity with underwriting principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a relevant professional insurance or sales certification is an advantage.
- Proven experience in a senior sales or sales management role, ideally within financial services or insurance, with a track record of achieving targets.
- Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, Egypt, collaborate effectively across functions, and uphold high ethical and compliance standards.
