Job Description

As a Senior Sales Manager - Classifieds, you will be responsible for sales of classifieds business in KSA. You will be responsible for setting up sales functions, developing products, contributing to market sizing, meeting and locking deals with agencies, developing relationships with government agencies. You will set and monitor sales targets for the classifieds sales team in coordination with strategy teams.

  • Develop overall sales strategy for meeting business plan numbers developed by the group
  • Work with backend & strategy teams for zoning and product pricing for optimised sales volumes
  • Hire sales resources and maintaining optimal team size to achieve sales targets
  • Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sales at all levels in coordination with strategy team
  • Analyze & report sales KPIs on periodic basis to the business head(s)
  • Responsible for setting monthly/quarterly targets of the sales team in coordination of strategy team
  • Continuously observe listings trends, product performance as well as suggest changes accordingly
  • Identify best practices to improve the sales processes and overall marketing and sales efficiency
  • Oversee P&Ls in order to maintain business profitability as per the business plan
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with repeat clients to keep them satisfied and promote future business opportunities.
  • Evaluate new development opportunities to grow overall business
  • Continuous coaching for team members by helping team members reach their full sales potential, and the ability to support and motivate sales members is essential
  • Responsible for Training Need Assessment (TNA) of the sales staff.
  • Execute sales training program based on TNA in coordination with sales strategy heads
  • Initiate performance improvement interventions with the help of sales strategy team
  • Work with sales ops teams to ensure optimal service levels and smooth agency and customer operations
  • Oversee market research and competitor and customer analysis on regular basis
  • Raise process requirements to technology and strategy teams for optimal sales operations
  • Suggest improvements of company portal for enhancement of sales
  • Develop team and consumer promotions for sales enhancement in coordination with strategy and product teams
  • Conduct market outreach events and expos to enhance agency and client base
  • Represent the company in expos and other real estate events
  • Forge good working relationships with regulatory bodies for smooth operations
  • Conduct frequent market visits alongside the sales teams to keep field knowledge intact
  • Conduct morning meeting with teams to give direction on regular basis
  • Oversee special projects as assigned by the line manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or relevant field

Experience

  • At least 10 years previous sales management or active sales is a must
  • Proven Commercial sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
