Senior SAP Basis Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a SAP Basis Division Manager. As part of our organization running on SAP RISE, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily SAP Basis operations, ensuring the smooth running of SAP applications, managing user authorizations, enforcing access rules and policies, and coordinating system releases and upgrades. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in integrating SAP with different analytics platforms, including Power BI and SAC

Responsibilities:

- Perform daily SAP Basis operations, including monitoring system health, identifying, and resolving incidents, and ensuring the smooth running of SAP applications.

- Create and manage user authorizations through user roles, ensuring compliance with access rules and policies defined by management.

- Transfer requests for configuration between different servers in the landscape.

- Demonstrate expertise in system configurations, upgrades/installations, performance tuning, and migration activities.

- Plan, coordinate, and execute SAP system releases, including upgrades, patches, and enhancements, following established release management processes.

- Collaborate and communicate with other divisions for problem resolution and cross-functional support.

- Integrate SAP with different analytics platforms, such as Power BI and SAC.

-Create and Follow-up on Support Tickets with SAP and the ECS SR-Requests on SAP RISE.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience.

- Minimum of 4 years experience in SAP Basis Administration, including SAP ECC/NetWeaver/ABAP Application Server monitoring and administration.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA and Fiori.

- Proficient in SAP security authorization for ABAP, S/4HANA, Fiori, and HANA.

- Experience with SAP on cloud platforms, such as C4C, BTP, and CPI/HCI.

- Strong background in system configurations, upgrades/installations, performance tuning, and migration activities.

- Expertise in investigating and resolving issues related to system performance.

- Ability to document SAP processes, procedures, and plans, including changes, upgrades, and new services.

- Knowledge of Linux operating system especially SUSE EL.

- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented individual.

- Knowledge of SAP Rise.
