o SAP EWM ↔ third‑party automation systems (AGVs, ASRS, pick‑to‑light, PLC interfaces)

· Identify whether issues are SAP‑side, middleware‑side, or automation‑side and coordinate resolution

accordingly

· Work closely with automation vendors, controls teams, and system integrators.

Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis:

· Lead analysis of critical production incidents impacting warehouse operations

· Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document permanent corrective actions

· Support stabilization initiatives post‑incident to prevent recurrence

· Maintain operational runbooks and knowledge documentation

Operational Improvements & Optimization:

· Identify opportunities to improve stability, performance, and reliability of EWM processes

· Support fine‑tuning of queues, resources, waves, and automation triggers

· Advise on operational best practices for highly automated EWM environments

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination:

· Act as a technical bridge between:

o IT

· Provide clear communication during incidents and recovery activities

· Support business users during high‑pressure operational situations

Testing & Validation:

· Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and validate solutions.

· Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Compliance & Security:
