Senior SAP FICO Consultant [S/4HANA]

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP FICO Consultant with extensive S/4HANA implementation experience to drive financial transformation and support ongoing operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver comprehensive SAP Finance & Controlling solutions within a dynamic project environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and support existing SAP FICO solutions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and related modules. Analyze business requirements and convert them into functional specifications, configuration documents, and system designs. Perform hands-on configuration of SAP FICO within S/4HANA, including Universal Journal (ACDOCA), new asset accounting, and margin analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, HR, etc.) to ensure comprehensive integration between financial and operational processes. Lead or assist in full project lifecycle activities such as requirement workshops, fit-gap analysis, configuration, functional testing, integration testing, UAT support, and cutover. Prepare and conduct system demonstrations, end-user training sessions, and process documentation while providing post-go-live support. Work closely with business users to troubleshoot issues, recommend enhancements, and promote continuous improvement initiatives. Establish and maintain robust relationships with clients, project managers, and technical teams to ensure collaborative solution delivery. Contribute to team knowledge sharing, solution standardization, and best practice dissemination.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO within implementation and support roles. Experience with at least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects, with a mandatory focus on S/4HANA. Strong knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and more. Familiarity with S/4HANA innovations including Universal Journal and Fiori apps for finance is an advantage. Ability to deliver change requests, enhancements, and project deliverables with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders across business and IT sectors. A collaborative team player capable of working in diverse project environments. Proven commitment to customer service through proactive issue resolution and prioritization of business outcomes. Competent in documenting functional requirements, preparing specifications for RICEFW objects, configuring system settings, and supporting testing cycles. Proficiency in conducting system demos, user training, and post-implementation support activities. Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging or collaboration with technical teams is a plus.
