Senior SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant

Role Description The Senior SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP MM and related processes to support clients procurement and inventory operations. This part-time, remote role involves engaging with stakeholders to understand business requirements, mapping them to SAP solutions, and translating them into functional specifications and configurations. Day-to-day activities include conducting process workshops, performing system analysis, executing configurations in SAP MM and Warehouse Management, and supporting integration with other SAP modules. The consultant will prepare documentation, test scenarios, and training materials, and provide guidance during user acceptance testing and go-live support. Ongoing responsibilities also include troubleshooting issues, recommending process improvements, and contributing to continuous enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) and Materials Management processes, including procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Warehouse Management and related logistics execution processes.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end Business Process design and optimization in a SAP-centric environment.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for problem-solving, requirements analysis, and translating business needs into SAP configurations.
• Proven experience as a Senior SAP MM Consultant, preferably in multi-industry or large-scale transformation projects.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, part-time capacity, managing priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional and technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; SAP MM certification is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, FI/CO), and knowledge of best practices in digital transformation is beneficial.
