About The Job
To Provide planning oversight and schedule assurance for all phases of the EPC contractor's work. Review and validate integrated project schedules, resource histograms, critical path analysis, and progress measurement systems. Ensure alignment of the baseline schedule with project milestones and contractual obligations. Monitor schedule performance, assess recovery plans, and report variances with mitigation strategies. Participate in progress review meetings, interface coordination, and constructability planning. Validate contractor's monthly progress reports, lookahead schedules, and productivity metrics. Support risk assessment workshops and integrate schedule risks into the project control processes.
Oversees and controls the development, updating, and monitoring of the integrated project master schedule (Level 1 to
Level 4) for offshore engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction phases. Review and validate the EPC
contractor's baseline schedules, resource histograms, and progress S-curves to ensure compliance with contract key
milestones and project logic. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress, identify critical path activities, and perform
variance analyses to detect potential schedule overruns. Participate in project progress review meetings, and risk
assessment sessions. Evaluate the impact of change orders and technical queries (TQs) on the project schedule,
providing early warnings and delay mitigation strategies to project management. Prepare comprehensive progress
reports, look-ahead schedules, and productivity metrics for client and management review, ensuring complete
alignment with project management procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of EPC project experience.
- Minimum 10 years of offshore fabrication project controls and planning experience.
- Primavera P6 Advanced User.
Mandatory Experience
- Offshore jacket fabrication projects.
- Engineering, procurement, fabrication, loadout, and installation planning.
- Progress measurement and earned value management.
- Critical path analysis.
- Recovery schedule development.
- Weekly and monthly progress reporting.
- Resource loading and productivity monitoring.
Preferred Experience
- Saudi Aramco offshore projects.
- Fabrication yard planning experience.
- Previous experience supporting offshore installation campaigns.
- Ability to independently verify physical progress at fabrication yards.
Key Responsibility
- Independently validate L&T progress claims and provide early warning of schedule risks and recovery opportunities.
General Notes
- All personnel shall be fluent in English and capable of preparing professional reports and presentations.
- Preference shall be given to candidates with previous Saudi Aramco offshore experience.
- Preference shall be given to candidates who have worked as PMC or Company Representatives rather than contractor-only roles.
- Candidates shall demonstrate direct involvement in fabrication yards and offshore construction activities.
- Pure engineering design, maintenance, refinery turnaround/shutdown, or civil infrastructure backgrounds are not considered suitable unless supported by significant offshore fabrication yard experience.
