Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Search Engine Optimization Specialist based in Cairo, Egypt. The specialist will be responsible for conducting keyword research, planning and executing on-page SEO improvements, and running regular SEO audits to identify technical and content-related issues. Daily tasks include monitoring website performance using web analytics tools, preparing SEO reports, and recommending optimizations to increase organic traffic and search visibility. The role also involves managing ethical link-building initiatives, collaborating with content and marketing teams to align SEO with firm objectives, and staying current with search engine algorithm updates and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably with complex, high-traffic, international, or multi-market websites.
• Proven success in increasing organic visibility, qualified traffic, leads, conversions, or revenue.
• Advanced knowledge of technical, on-page, off-page, content, and international SEO.
• Strong experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs or Semrush, Looker Studio, and similar SEO tools.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript fundamentals, structured data, redirects, canonical tags, robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and HTTP status codes.
• Experience with content-management systems, preferably WordPress.
• Ability to turn SEO findings into clear technical requirements for developers.
• Experience with website migrations, redesigns, SEO recovery projects, schema markup, or log-file analysis is highly desirable.
• Experience with international, multilingual, B2B, professional-services, or enterprise websites is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience mentoring SEO professionals or leading cross-functional projects is an advantage.
