Contract Duration: Initial 12 months contract
Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity engineering and architecture optimization across all deployed security platforms.
- Conduct periodic configuration audits and system hardening across the security stack.
- Identify and activate unused or underutilized features to achieve maximum value from licensed technologies.
- Manage cross-platform integrations between security solutions and enterprise systems to ensure unified visibility and control.
- Perform impact assessments and risk evaluations before applying configuration or design changes.
- Ensure compliance alignment with applicable cybersecurity governance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with SOC and Incident Response teams to improve incident handling.
- Prepare and deliver monthly engineering status summaries including improvements, issues, and recommended next actions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and SOPs for all operational and technical processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 7+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience in UAE government or enterprise environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise across multiple security platforms:
- Firewall: Palo Alto (PAN-OS)
- Cloud Proxy: Zscaler
- Endpoint Protection: Trend Micro Apex One / Apex Central / Deep Security
- EDR: SentinelOne
- NDR: DarkTrace
- Email Security: Barracuda, Trend Micro ScanMail
- WAF: Barracuda Web Application Firewall
- Vulnerability Management: Tenable
- Palo Alto PCNSE certification (mandatory).
- Trend Micro Certified Expert
- Zscaler Certified Professional.
- Excellent understanding of cybersecurity compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and cyber maturity frameworks.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
