We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Simulation Educator who provides learning experiences for healthcare professionals and learners in health professions education by developing, coordinating, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating simulation-based education programs and clinical skills training for internal and external stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on the identification and design of simulation-based learning experiences to complement the learning curriculum of the colleges
- Develop simulation-based learning experiences by selecting appropriate methodologies, content, and resources
- Deliver/facilitate and evaluate the learning experience to ensure the objectives of the design have been met
- Design and develop faculty development programs on simulation-based learning experiences to enable Faculty to design independently, deliver, and de-brief simulation-based programs
- Leads / Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders on the identification and design of simulation-based learning experiences to complement the learning curriculum
- Develops simulation-based learning experiences by selecting appropriate methodologies, content, and resources
- Delivers/facilitates and evaluates the learning experience to ensure the objectives of the design have been met
- Designs and develops faculty development programs that enable faculty to design independently, deliver, and debrief simulation-based learning experiences on a Training-the-Trainer format
- Leads the simulated patient program at MBRU by recruiting, selecting, training, and de-rolling Simulated patients and ensuring that the Standards of best practices are followed.
- Provides consultancy for developing scenarios for manikin-based and simulated patients as required for faculty and trainers
- Promotes and uses evidence-based debriefing tools to conduct debriefing sessions
- Collaborates with various colleges and departments in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all Objective Structured Clinical Examinations and Multiple Mini-Interviews as scheduled
- Plans, develops, implements/participates in, and evaluates simulation-based community engagement activities to promote medical knowledge, skills, and the profession
- Participates in national, regional, and international platforms that engage in research and scholarly publications to share and benchmark best practices in the field
- Collaborates with the American Heart Association International Training Center, overseeing Instructor/faculty-related roles
- Develops, reviews, and implements policies to ensure compliance with the accreditation standards
- Contributes to the budgeting exercise of the Department to ensure the requirements of the center are being represented
Desirable Criteria
- Bachelor's in health Professions education
- Minimum 6 - 8 years in simulation-based education
- Experience liaising with healthcare and community stakeholders.
- Experience in Smart Services, Administrative Affairs
- Experience with Simulated Patients
- Experience with Accreditation bodies
