Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural design activities for high-rise tower developments, including planning, conceptual design, schematic design, and construction documentation.
- Ensure the architectural vision aligns with client expectations, project requirements, and overall design objectives.
- Oversee the integration of key tower elements such as entrances, lobby design, typical floor layouts, core planning, faade systems, vertical circulation (elevators/stairs), podium areas, amenities, and parking.
- Coordinate with internal disciplines (MEP, Structural, Interior Design) and external consultants to ensure smooth and coordinated project delivery.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and samples for compliance with specifications and design standards.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, high-rise tower regulations, accessibility requirements, fire and life safety codes, and international design guidelines.
- Monitor construction progress through regular site inspections, addressing design-related issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Utilize design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM platforms for accurate and efficient project documentation.
- Prepare design presentations, visual materials, and reports for client and stakeholder meetings.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to quality assurance, technical reviews, and design best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum 13 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years on large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, tower planning, vertical circulation, faade systems, core layouts, and high-rise building operations.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and BIM coordination tools.
- Excellent knowledge of international codes (e.g., IBC, NFPA, ADA) and regional regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- PMP, LEED, or equivalent green building certification is an advantage.
- Registered Architect license is a plus.
