Lead and supervise the execution of electrical installation works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
Review and interpret scope of work, contract documents, and site logbooks to ensure alignment with project deliverables.
Coordinate and monitor all electrical systems installation activities, including power systems for HVAC, lighting systems, panel boards (main, sub, distribution, MCC), and low-current systems.
Ensure effective coordination and integration of Building Management System (BMS) with mechanical and electrical systems during installation and commissioning phases.
Guide and supervise technicians on cable termination, tagging, ferruling, dressing, and installation practices to ensure quality and accuracy based on approved drawings.
Support testing and commissioning teams by coordinating site readiness and resolving any technical or logistical issues promptly.
Communicate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to address and resolve site-related issues, particularly those concerning electrical design and system functionality.
Coordinate with electrical QA/QC teams for drawing modifications, red markups, as-built preparation, and compliance with inspection protocols.
Participate in site coordination and HSE meetings, providing technical input and contributing to issue resolution.
Ensure all site documentation, including daily progress reports, inspection requests, and handover documentation, is accurately maintained and submitted.
Promote compliance with safety standards and implement corrective actions as needed.
Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers and technicians, fostering knowledge transfer and performance improvement.
Carry out any official tasks or assignments delegated by the Business Unit Manager or Project Director.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and components (power distribution, lighting, BMS, low current systems, etc.).
Advanced understanding of construction drawings, electrical codes, and industry standards.
Team leadership and technical supervision skills.
Effective communication and coordination abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
Familiarity with safety practices, inspection protocols, and QA/QC procedures.
