We require a Senior Site Engineer to provide structural engineering expertise on projects in the Dubai (UAE) office

Working with a technical team providing specialised services to our clients, this is a great opportunity for a design engineer to gain additional and more senior experience interacting with renowned national and international consultants on exciting projects in India and abroad.

Key responsibilities

· Assist the Associate / Director in preparing for site construction and project coordination.

· Visit sites to address design-related issues as and when required.

· Give site backup on technical/design issues, where required.

· Prepare markups for CAD technicians and check drawings when completed.

· Coordinate with architects, building services engineers, and other project team members.

· Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of one's own work.

· Ensure that allocated works are completed within the programme and allocated budget.

· Ensure senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.

· Attend meetings with local authorities, coordination meetings with other departments and clients as and when required.

· Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety and quality management.

Requirements

· Bachelor's in civil engineering.

· 8+ years post-Bachelor's degree experience in site supervision and mentoring subordinates.

· Extensive coordination experience in project stakeholder coordination.

· Knowledge of Construction Site Inspection, auditing, along with being commercially aware of modern repair and retrofitting techniques.

· Competent in the use of software packages i.e. AUTOCAD, REVIT, Microsoft suite of products.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Good communication, presentation and organisational skills.

· Have a flexible attitude to both the type of work undertaken and the level of responsibility accepted.
