Senior Site Engineer

Job Purpose

To supervise and manage site construction activities while ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, contract requirements, and applicable regulations. The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing project execution, monitoring workmanship quality, conducting inspections, and ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with project requirements, company procedures, and client expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable construction codes.
  
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of site works and timely resolution of technical issues.
  
• Review and verify Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), method statements, and material submittals before consultant submission.
  
• Ensure all materials and workmanship comply with approved specifications, project standards, and client requirements.
  
• Identify, document, and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Monitor project progress, report deviations, and recommend solutions to maintain schedule adherence and minimize rework.
  
• Maintain and update quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and other QA/QC documentation required for project compliance.
  
• Lead snagging and de-snagging activities, ensuring all defects and punch-list items are rectified prior to project handover.
  
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), Quality Management System (QMS), and company policies while promoting continuous improvement across site operations.
  
  

Requirements

Education: BSc of Engineering (Civil/Architecture).
Experience: 5 - 7 years of experience in the QC field is a must/Previous experience in construction sites/projects.
Skills: Communication skills - Analytical skills.
Abilities & Attitude: Proficiency in MS Office & AutoCAD – Fluency in English
