The Social Media Strategist is responsible for developing and executing data-driven social media strategies to position El Gouna as a leading lifestyle and real estate destination. The role focuses on growing brand awareness, engagement, and conversion through innovative content, campaigns, and performance optimization.
This role bridges content creation, digital marketing, and brand strategy, ensuring consistent storytelling across all platforms. (This aligns with how Orascom combines content + campaign + analytics responsibilities in their marketing roles.)
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives
- Define target audiences, tone of voice, and content pillars (real estate, lifestyle, events, tourism)
- Plan monthly content calendars and campaign roadmaps
Content Direction & Creation
- Oversee creation of engaging content (posts, reels, stories, videos, influencer content)
- Ensure content reflects El Gouna's brand identity and premium lifestyle positioning
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and videographers
(Note: Content creation and storytelling are core expectations in El Gouna roles.)
Analytics & Performance
- Monitor KPIs (engagement, reach, conversion, ROI)
- Use analytics tools to optimize campaigns and content strategy
- Prepare regular performance reports and insights
(Performance tracking and ROI reporting are key expectations in Orascom's digital roles.)
Brand & Community Management
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms
- Manage community engagement (comments, DMs, sentiment)
- Stay updated on trends, platforms, and audience behavior
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in social media or digital marketing
- Strong understanding of platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Experience in real estate, hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus
- Proficiency in analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of content production (photo/video/editing)
