Job Mission:

A detail-oriented Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust database systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in creating Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), modelling database schemas, and ensuring optimal performance and security.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and model relational databases using best practices, including the creation of ERDs to represent system data structures.
• Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable database solutions based on project and business requirements.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for data manipulation and reporting.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and resource tuning.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and system architects to integrate databases with other applications.
• Monitor and resolve database issues, including data migration, replication, and synchronization tasks.
• Document database schemas, configurations, and operational procedures.

Qualifications(Educational Background & preferred Work experience):

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer science or Information technology or any related discipline.
• Not less than 3 years of professional experience in creating entity relationship diagrams (ERDs), modelling database schemas, and ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Essential Knowledge and Skills:

-Proficiency in SQL and experience with RDBMS like SQL Server.

-Strong knowledge of data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, dbdiagram.io, or similar).

-Experience in database design, normalization, indexing, and performance tuning

-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

-Strong communication and documentation skills.

-Familiarity with PostgreSQL is a plus.
