Job Description
- Build and maintain high-quality automated testing frameworks and pipelines for backend applications.
- Design and implement automation testing best practices, quality standards, and processes.
- Write and execute extensive test cases for verification of web applications and backend services.
- Test REST APIs in a microservice environment and write contract tests using tools like Pact, Postman, and Cypress.
- Collaborate with backend engineers and engineering managers to enhance automation testing and quality practices.
- Assist developers in troubleshooting testing issues and improving automation knowledge across the team.
- Maintain and monitor the health of the automation testing pipeline.
- Conduct manual verification of full feature testing to ensure quality across supported devices.
- Act as a mentor and coach for junior QA engineers and promote quality standards across the team.
- Contribute to improving CI/CD workflows, SDLC processes, and overall quality methodologies.
