Purpose of the role:

Our MEA team is working in a fast paced, hyper-growth environment. We are looking for an inquisitive, innovative, and skilled Senior Engineer to work alongside our Product & EMEA teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on JavaScript, Typescript, Java, Spring Boot, Sitecore, and AWS.

Day to day activities will include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product &engineeringteams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is being produced
  • Ensure all software meets or exceeds specified requirements and adheres to industry best practices

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Adaptable across a range of different technologies
  • Strong knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem, Node.js, TypeScript, React, Next,js
  • Knowledge of Java, Springboot, and AWS would be an advantage but not necessary
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Software Engineers
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
