EPIC HB/PB Job Responsibilities
- System Build & Configuration: Customizing Epic modules, designing, maintaining and building workflows.
- Workflow Analysis: Meeting with leadership to identify bottlenecks and close workflow gaps.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance & On call support: Investigating software issues, applying system updates, and providing tier-2 or tier-3 end-user support.
- Bill Area related updates
- Department updates
- Provider updates
- Cost Center updates
- CER Rule updates
- Payer/Plan Updates
- Testing: Creating test scripts and running unit testing prior to go-lives and version upgrades.
- Certifications: Active EpicCare HB or PB experience certification is usually required.
- Background: Typically requires a minimum of 3- 4 years of Epic implementation or support experience, with a strong understanding of Billing environments.
- Good to have Cadance Certified
