Senior Software Engineer (Java ,PySpark and AWS )

What Success Looks Like In This Role

An ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java, Python, AWS Cloud, Microservices, and Data Engineering. The candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting cloud-native applications, REST APIs, event-driven services, and data processing pipelines on AWS.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/Python-based applications and Microservices
• Build and support cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Develop REST APIs and event-driven integrations
• Design and implement Elasticsearch/OpenSearch solutions, including document indexing, upserts, and complex Bool Query-based search
• Build and optimize PySpark/Glue ETL jobs
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on EKS
• Participate in code reviews, production support, and technical discussions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Java and Python
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices
• Experience with PySpark and AWS Glue for data processing
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, and SSM
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, including Bool Queries, document indexing/upserts, and Kibana
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices
• Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  
  

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree and 7-10 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
