Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Java + React) | AWS
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build scalable SaaS products. You'll own features end-to-end — from UI and API design through data modeling, cloud deployment, and production support — working alongside Product, UX, Architecture, QA, and engineers based in the U.S. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a global delivery model and is excited to use AI-assisted engineering tools to work smarter, not just faster.
What You'll Do
- Design and build secure, scalable REST APIs and backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Build responsive, modern front-end experiences with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Own full-stack features — UI, services, data model, automated tests, deployment, and observability
- Design efficient data structures and processing logic for complex business requirements at scale, using PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS
- Write clean, secure, testable code; maintain strong unit/integration/API/E2E test coverage; conduct thoughtful peer reviews
- Troubleshoot performance and production issues using logs, metrics, traces, and cloud monitoring tools
- Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud delivery using AWS, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Maintain clear technical documentation and runbooks; contribute to async updates and shared production support
What You Bring
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise-grade applications
- Advanced Java, Spring, Spring Boot skills — strong grasp of OOD, SOLID principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Hands-on full-stack experience: React, TypeScript/modern JS, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, microservices
- Strong SQL and relational data modeling (PostgreSQL preferred), with solid automated testing practices
- Practical experience with AWS, Git/GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and production monitoring/debugging
- Proven success working in Agile teams across distributed locations and time zones
- Comfort with (or strong interest in) approved AI-assisted engineering tools
Nice to Have
- Prior GIS (Geographic Information Systems) experience
- Deep prior exposure to AI-powered development workflows
