About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Engineer to build and scale a high-volume, event-driven Driver Operations Platform. You'll develop backend services, GraphQL APIs, and user-facing applications that power onboarding, driver communications, and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications and APIs.
• Build event-driven services using AWS Serverless technologies.
• Develop onboarding, communication, and workflow automation features.
• Design reliable GraphQL APIs and distributed systems.
• Integrate third-party APIs and webhooks.
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, and performance.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and Data teams.
• Mentor engineers and participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, AppSync (or similar), DynamoDB, EventBridge, and Amazon SQS.
• Experience building event-driven, serverless applications.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API development, and idempotent event processing.
• Experience with DynamoDB single-table design.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and webhooks.
• Strong debugging, testing, and production support experience.
