Senior Software Engineer

Qualifications & Skills required

Must Have

• Around 3 years of experience in Golang
• At least 3 years of experience in Design/Development in Microservices based architecture, REST APIs, Open-Source libraries, and frameworks.
• More than 3 years of hands-on designing DB models and schema experience with NoSQL DB like MongoDB.
• 3+ years exposure to cloud native solutions and infrastructure using AWS (AWS IOT experience is plus)
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab pipelines.
• Well verse with DevOps practices and tools like Sumo logic, ArgoCD, Grafana, Splunk
• Solid understanding and prior use of TDD (Test Driven Development) practices and automated UI testing practices and software is required.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal. Good team player.
• Strong in troubleshooting, unit test and debugging skills

Good to Have

• Experience in Android application development
• Exposure to IOT domain
• Good understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Understanding of the HTTP2.0 protocol, web applications, performance and monitoring.
• Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems OAuth2.0
• Proficient understanding of Gitlab, CI/CD, DevOps practices
• Knowledge in network architecture & server administration
• Having the knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular 16 and NodeJS is a plus.
• Great attention to details and Organizational skills

Education

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field
