Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Software Engineer (Scraping). The role involves designing, building, and maintaining efficient web scraping systems to gather and process automotive data. Responsibilities include writing and optimizing algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and implementing security measures to ensure data integrity. The candidate will also work on scaling and enhancing existing systems to support growing data needs.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and concepts
• Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development processes
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Familiarity with web scraping frameworks, data extraction, and parsing techniques
• Knowledge of working with APIs and handling large datasets
• Ability to work in a collaborative, remote team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Prior experience in automotive or data-focused industries is a plus
