Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Project Manager with a strong background in the banking sector and deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Azure DevOps, MS Project, and related tools. The successful candidate will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects with a focus on digital transformation, process optimization, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on technical project delivery experience, exceptional leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of high-impact banking projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.
- Define comprehensive project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize Microsoft Project for detailed planning and Azure DevOps for agile delivery and tracking.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of project tasks.
- Monitor project performance using KPIs and provide regular, actionable updates to senior leadership.
- Identify potential risks, dependencies, and issues early, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all projects comply with banking regulations, company standards, and IT governance frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned analysis.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven experience with Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure DevOps, MS Project, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of banking business processes, regulatory frameworks, and risk management practices.
- Hands-on experience delivering projects using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (both written and verbal).
