Senior Software Project Manager

Objective:

• Responsible for planning and overseeing projects within an organization, from the initial ideation to completion, scope, and development of project plans.

Responsibilities:

• Defining project goals and objectives and establishing project timelines and milestones.
  

• Identifying project requirements and constraints and managing project risks.
  

• Monitoring project progress and reporting project status to the defined stakeholders.
  

• Identifying and resolving issues related to project delivery.
  

• Manage project resources to fulfill the project assignments.
  

• Tracking milestones, deliverables, and change requests.
  

• Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
  

• Overseeing the Scrum events and meetings if Agile applies.
  

• Determining and overseeing consistent project activities like testing, evaluating issues, and troubleshooting.
  

• Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information.
  

• Perform regular checks on the delivered projects for better enhancements.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or any related field.
  
  

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a must.
  
  

• 5 to 7 years of experience in the software industry.
  
  

• Proficiency in project management, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
  
  

• Familiarity with reporting tools, such as Microsoft Project Plan and JIRA.
  

• Understanding software development processes.
  

• Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
