Role Summary
This role is ideal for a QA professional who thrives in process development and governance, enjoys collaborating across departments, and is experienced in ensuring compliance with CMMI Level 2/3 or higher. You will work with cross-functional teams to define, implement, monitor, and continuously improve our quality assurance processes, ensuring that our operations and deliverables meet organizational and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve QA and process governance frameworks in alignment with CMMI requirements.
- Lead internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to defined processes and quality objectives.
- Collaborate with team leads and departments to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Define, document, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality policies, workflows, and templates.
- Monitor process metrics, analyze performance data, and report on trends and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions for teams on quality standards, processes, and compliance expectations.
- Support process documentation and evidence collection for external audits and appraisals (e.g., CMMI, ISO).
- Act as a quality champion across teams to promote a culture of excellence, standardization, and discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a QA/process engineering role with strong emphasis on quality processes and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with CMMI implementation and audits (Level 2 or 3 at minimum).
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, and hybrid delivery models.
- Excellent skills in process mapping, documentation, and KPI reporting.
- Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Internal Auditor certification or equivalent experience with quality frameworks (CMMI, ISO, ITIL, SPICE ...).
- Experience working with process automation or governance tools (e.g., Azure, Confluence, SharePoint ...).
- Experience supporting organizational maturity initiatives and quality training programs.
