Senior Software Security Engineer

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using NestJS and TypeScript
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs that handle high-volume financial transactions
• Implement event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing
• Work with MySQL databases, designing schemas and optimizing queries with TypeORM
• Integrate with third-party services (payment providers, KYC/AML systems, identity providers)
• Implement feature flags and gradual rollouts for safe deployments
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and incident response
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

• 3-5 years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
• Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and ORMs (TypeORM)
• Working knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, or similar)
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines)
• Understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Fintech/payments industry experience
• Knowledge of Keycloak or similar identity management systems
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/Docker deployments
• Experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics
• Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, distributed tracing)
• Experience with AWS services (S3, SQS, RDS)
• Understanding of compliance requirements (KYC/AML)
