Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Testing Engineer to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the testing scope of complex features end-to-end, owning regression planning and test cycle management, driving automation efforts using Playwright and SHAFT Engine and actively coaching and mentoring junior and mid-level team members.

You will collaborate closely with development, product and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met across every release cycle from UAT regression through production sign-off. The ideal candidate is technically strong, process-disciplined, and a natural team contributor who takes ownership of quality beyond their individual scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end testing for assigned features — including test planning, HLS writing, test case creation, execution, and sign-off.
• Define and review testing scope, coverage, and regression plans for assigned modules.
• Write, review, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright and SHAFT Engine.
• Conduct API testing using Postman with full endpoint coverage.
• Solid hands-on experience in mobile testing across iOS and Android platforms.
• Own release cycles end-to-end from planning through UAT regression to production sign-off.
• Perform independent root cause analysis on production defects and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Manage Jira tasks, time logging, and Zephyr test cycles accurately and consistently.
• Coach and mentor junior and mid-level team members through structured feedback and regular 1:1s.
• Review and approve test cases and HLS documents produced by junior and mid-level engineers.
• Contribute to QA documentation, process standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proactively flag risks, blockers, and coverage gaps before they impact delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in software quality assurance with at least 1–2 years in a senior or lead QA role.
• Proven hands-on experience with test automation frameworks specifically Playwright and/or SHAFT Engine.
• Solid experience in API testing using Postman. Strong knowledge of mobile testing across iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficiency in test management tools:Jira and Zephyr.
• Experience owning and leading full release cycles in an agile environment.
• Demonstrated ability to write, review and maintain automation scripts independently.
• Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members.
• Strong understanding of QA processes, defect lifecycle and documentation standards.
