Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Sales Engineer based in 6th of October. The Senior Sales Engineer will oversee and drive technical sales processes, engage with clients to understand their needs, and propose tailored solar energy solutions. The role includes conducting site visits, preparing technical proposals, generating leads, and ensuring project requirements are addressed. Additionally, the role requires effective collaboration with internal teams and regular client follow-ups to maintain strong relationships.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge of solar energy systems, including on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid applications
  • Proven sales skills, client engagement, and the ability to identify and address customer requirements
  • Experience in conducting site assessments and preparing precise technical proposals
  • Communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for building and maintaining client relationships
  • Proficiency in tools related to sales and project management; knowledge of CRM software is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar sales engineering role, especially in the solar energy or energy sector
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
