Job Description

We are seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in leading kitchen operations and delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and timely service
  • Train, mentor, and support the development of kitchen staff
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control while minimizing waste
  • Maintain FIFO practices, food safety standards, and HACCP compliance
  • Oversee mise en place, service flow, and pass operations
  • Collaborate on menu development and daily specials
  • Ensure efficient kitchen organization and strong team coordination

Requirements:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2+ years in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Solid knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
