We are seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in leading kitchen operations and delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and timely service
- Train, mentor, and support the development of kitchen staff
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control while minimizing waste
- Maintain FIFO practices, food safety standards, and HACCP compliance
- Oversee mise en place, service flow, and pass operations
- Collaborate on menu development and daily specials
- Ensure efficient kitchen organization and strong team coordination
Requirements:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2+ years in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Solid knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
