Job Description

Track building upkeep as well as anticipated long- and short-term improvements and maintenance

# Conducts EC3 facility related training in a formal and educational context to improve EC3 staff and contractor awareness and understanding

# Logs all records and compiles statistical reports concerning EC3 facility.

# Manage the maintenance of the building by performing repairs or contracting maintenance services as needed

# Manages and monitors suppliers in ensuring the fulfilment of their contractual obligations. Uses key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and challenge supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement

# Adopts Systems Engineering Framework and other best practices, and manage adherence to this methodology.

# Interview and hire certain facility employees and contractors, such as maintenance staff and janitorial services

# Adheres to established facilities management standards, policies and procedures

# Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.

# Compiles data into statistical reports and reports EC3 facility performance, and issues advising on specific problems ad their causes. Develop recommendations for improvement

# Manage the overall services provided within the EC3 facility

# Create a suitable environment for the purpose and needs of the EC3 facility

# Compare costs for various services and goods before choosing the best options for the facility

# Create a budget for various facility needs and expenses

# Keep the surrounding grounds properly cared for and landscaped

# Periodically reviews policies, procedures and standards for EC3 facility and carries out compliance reviews

# Extracts data and information from EC3 systems and monitors the implementation of transport modelling initiatives through the use of simulators and modelling, and follow-up with RTA agencies / sectors and other emirates to make more informative investment and strategic decisions

# Ensure the security of the building by researching and implementing various security measures, such as surveillance cameras or security staff members in line with RTA building administration.

# Investigates RTA EC3 facility requirements in order to establish, modify or maintain EC3 capabilities that support RTA technology strategy and needs. Develops business cases for EC3 capabilities

# Handle certain administrative tasks, such as preparing reports for RTA senior management # Carries out activities set by the EC3 Manager to manage and implement EC3 facility improvement programs and projects

# Use best business practices to manage and reduce operation costs

# Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the EC3 facility

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, Business studies or similar, from a recognized university.

# 8 years of experience in the field of facilities management # Desirable to have a health and safety qualification for example NEBOCH, IOSH

# Must have experience in using maintaining and generating reports

# Desirable knowledge in MEP systems and building services.

# Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.

# Required IT/ICT skill sets such as MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

# Excellent project management skills to develop and direct project managers

# Ability to initiate and direct facility management, improvements and refurbishment projects in support of EC3 facility strategic and operational goals

# Knowledge on latest developments and trends in the area of building management

# Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.

# Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
