Role Purpose
To support the EPMO's Research-to-Market (R2M) governance and assurance function across ATRC entities by helping coordinate framework implementation, stage-gate governance activities, portfolio reporting, and knowledge management across the innovation lifecycle from research through commercialization.
Role Key Mandate
The role supports the governance, assurance, enablement, and reporting activities required for the consistent application of the R2M framework across entities, while execution accountability remains with the relevant entities and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and day-to-day administration of the ATRC Research-to-Market (R2M) framework, including standards, templates, requirements, and operating practices adapted from the existing governance model.
- Assist in tracking adoption and consistent application of the R2M framework across ATRC entities through structured follow-up, coordination, and documentation support.
- Coordinate stage-gate review activities for initiatives progressing through defined TRL/CRL-based maturity stages, including collection of supporting documents, review logistics, and action tracking.
- Maintain portfolio-level trackers and reports on initiative progression, bottlenecks, gate status, and innovation pipeline health for management review.
- Support risk and issue tracking related to R2M governance and help prepare structured materials for decision-making forums and governance meetings.
- Draft and update R2M standards, templates, tools, and knowledge assets to promote consistent application across entity PMOs and delivery teams, including records related to initiative classification and shelving where applicable.
- Support cross-entity coordination and handoffs across TII, ASPIRE, VentureOne, and enabling functions to help maintain continuity across the research-to-commercialization lifecycle.
- Support the administration and effective use of the innovation management system and related governance tools that enable the R2M framework.
- Maintain lessons learned, guidance notes, reference materials, and other knowledge management content for the R2M function.
- Draft executive reports, dashboards, briefing materials, and governance papers to support leadership visibility and decision-making, and conduct related data analysis
- Lead meeting coordination, minute-taking, and action tracking for stage-gate reviews and governance forums
- Facilitate training sessions and onboarding for entity teams on R2M templates, processes, and tools
- Update risk registers, issue logs, and lessons learned databases from gate reviews and project handoffs.
Profile Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Innovation Management, Science, Technology Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years experience in PMO support, innovation management, management consulting, portfolio coordination, R&D operations, governance support, or a related research-to-market environment.
- Foundational understanding of stage-gate governance, TRL/CRL maturity models, innovation portfolio concepts, and research-to-commercialization pathways.
- Experience in developing governance processes, reporting cycles, templates, standards, or structured business processes in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Good capability in reporting, presentation development, meeting coordination, and preparation of decision-support materials.
- Strong coordination, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively across research, strategy, portfolio, and commercialization stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with portfolio or workflow systems is an advantage.
- Experience in technology, R&D, innovation, or government-related organizations is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CAPM, CompTIA Project+, or PRINCE2 Foundation are advantageous
