Job Description
The Senior Specialist – Infrastructure is responsible for supporting the planning, analysis, and coordination of AD Maritime's infrastructure projects by providing technical input, reviewing project proposals, validating schedules and costs, and ensuring alignment with planning standards and strategic objectives. Reporting to the Manager – Planning, the role contributes to the development of project plans, feasibility assessments, and resource forecasts to ensure that all maritime infrastructure initiatives are properly evaluated and prepared for execution.
The Senior Specialist plays a key role in consolidating project data, conducting technical assessments, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that all infrastructure planning activities comply with AD Maritime policies, engineering guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Support the planning of maritime infrastructure projects, including scope definition, schedule development, cost estimation, and risk identification.
- Review and validate project proposals, feasibility studies, concept designs, and preliminary engineering submissions.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Technical Support, and Delivery teams to align planning assumptions with technical requirements and execution constraints.
- Maintain a consolidated overview of project timelines, dependencies, milestones, and potential bottlenecks.
- Assist in preparing planning reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
- Conduct site assessments when required to validate planning data and inform project recommendations.
- Ensure that all planning documents meet AD Maritime standards and are updated throughout the project lifecycle. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Projects Manager
Qualifications
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Language Skills:
- Fluency in English and Arabic
Years of Experience:
- A minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience
Nature of Experience:
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
