JOB PURPOSE
The Specialist, Digital & Website is responsible for managing and enhancing the organization's digital presence across its website and online platforms. The role involves implementing digital strategies to ensure effective communication and engagement with stakeholders, customers, and the public. The incumbent creates, maintains, and optimizes digital content ensuring alignment with the organization's branding and communication objectives, monitors website performance, analyzes user engagement metrics, and implements improvements to enhance user experience and promote the company's image in conformity with its values and objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Website Management & Digital Content
Manage the company's website, ensuring it is current, user-friendly, accessible, and compliant with cybersecurity, data privacy, and the Company's standards and policies.
Create, edit, andoptimizedigital content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements in line with the Company's messaging, branding criteria, and applicable industry standards and regulations.
Monitor website performance and user engagement metrics,identifyingareas for improvement tooptimizethe user experience.
Conduct regular audits of digital assets to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Maintain proper documentation, change logs, and governance approvals for all digital content and platform changes.
Technical Operations & Stakeholder Coordination
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for website-related issues, ensuring minimum downtime andoptimalperformance.
Coordinate website updates, enhancements, and releases with internal stakeholders, external agencies, and IT teams to ensureoptimumperformance andtimelydelivery.
Implement SEO techniques and digital strategies to improve visibility and audience engagement.
Support digital campaigns, microsites, and online initiatives to strengthen external communications and audience outreach.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure digital platforms support strategic goals and communication objectives.
Strategy & Continuous Improvement
Provide input for the development and implementation of digital strategies to enhance the company's online presence and engagement.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and technological advancements in digital communications, making recommendations that support the Company's goals and interests.
Pitch social media feeds and digital content ideas to the External Communications team and broader Group Communications for consideration.
Analyze end-user behavior and recommend improvement actions to increase readership, impact, and user-friendliness across digital channels.
Leverage employee engagement with the Company's digital media channels (e.g.intranet) by developing and implementing communication activities that drive traffic and engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 3u20135 years of progressive experience in digital communications, web management, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience managing corporate websites and content management systems (CMS).
Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or large corporate sector is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and brand consistency.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external vendors.
Analytical thinking with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Knowledge about UAE laws and regulations, as well as local customs and protocol.
Professional Certifications
Relevant professional certifications (e.g.Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEO, CMS platforms) are an advantage.
