Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of contract management, including the development, review, negotiation, and closure of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards, while also managing procurement planning and supplier relationships to ensure efficient and effective service delivery aligned with KSIADC's goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and update legal policies, guidelines, and standard model forms related to agreements and contracts
- Draft, develop and update unified contract templates to be used by different KSIA functions
- Provide support to KSIA functions in drafting contracts and agreements in forms which do not contradict existing legislations
- Review, finalize and approve KSIA's contracts and agreements to ensure adherence with legal policies and guidelines
- Review and modify the content of contracts and agreements and detect any defects that can affect KSIA's interests and benefits
- Provide legal advice for inquiries related to contracts and agreements to clarify ambiguities and provide solutions and recommendations
- Review and approve all contract modification requests received from vendors or departments and recommend appropriate actions
- Identify potential risks arising from contracts execution, develop mitigation plans, follow-up on effective implementation, and intervene as needed
- Track the ongoing work with relevant stakeholders and follow up on negotiations with external parties
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in similar role or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in similar role or equivalent is required
- Master's degree in similar role or equivalent is preferred
