Job Description


JOB PURPOSE:

  • Develop, perform,andmonitorthe quality process andQA/QCactivities related toprojects&engineering, as per company quality management system andbestpractices.

  • Review and monitorBLDsandgroupcompaniesprojectsqualityperformancesu2019and documentationsto meet theinternationaland GP&Equality standards.

  • Develop systems and procedures to improve the qualitypracticesand efficiencywithinADNOC Group.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

ProjectQA/QC

  • Developall Project Quality Management related standards and Procedures based on international quality standards (ISO9001, ISO/TS29001, & ISO10006) and ADNOC or external good practices. Support inthe development of the Project Level 1 Governance Quality Management System(Policy and Objectives)and developLevel 2 Project QualityProcedures, Level 3 implementation of Project procedures and Level 4 management of the Project QualityForms &Records.

  • Provide guidance toBLDs/Group companies to ensure that projectQA/QCcomplywiththeidentified standards andbestpractices.

  • Lead /Participatein audits, reviews, and verifications tomeasure thelevel of compliance to QA/QC standards/requirements,identifyany improvement opportunity to enhance Project Qualityandto ensure that project QA/QC roles & responsibilities areidentified, understood, and implemented effectively.

  • Establishandmaintainthe masterQA/QCRisksandNon-conformance Report registers.

  • Review the Project NCRsand QA/QC riskslists and provideclosure statusupdateand suggest solutions.

  • Support the establishmentandmanagement ofThird-Party inspection Framework agreement.

  • Evaluate the implementation of Third-Part Inspection services and provide guidance to Project Quality teams in BLDs and Group companies to ensure Third-Party Services are managed and executed in effective and efficient manner.

  • Reviewandanalyse theinspectionandtestingreports, inspectionplans,non-conformities, technical deviationsrelevant to QA/QCasand whenrequired.

  • Review the pre-qualification documents and provideQA/QCfeedback.

  • Develop annualQualityplanfor Project QA/QC departmentwithin GP&Ealong with execution strategy andmonitorsthe implementation.

  • Define,update,andmaintainthe Project Quality competency management and assessment framework.

  • Arrange events anddeveloplearning materials tomaintainand enhancetheProject Quality Management Knowledge across the Group Companies.

  • Support HeadofDisciplineProject QA/QC to arrange and executeProject QA/QCCommunity of Practiceandpromotetheknowledge&lessonslearnedsharingandcontributeto theexecutionof theotherProject communities.

  • Ensures that project teamsidentify, understand,manageand mitigate all projectQA/QCrisks.

  • Monitorthe Project QA/QC KPIsto ensurefullcompliance toQA/QC requirements andsuccess delivery of projectsand commitments.

  • SupporttheHead of DisciplineProject QA/QC in the review and approval ofthe majorProjectquality related deviations and technical concessions.

  • Lead the process of root cause and failure analysis for any materials /equipment malfunctionthat require GP&E intervention.

  • Facilitateany audit on GP&E and coordinate with all GP&Everticals toensure all requiredevidencesare in place.

  • Monitorand support in the closure ofall audit actions relevant to GP&Efunctionand provideregular statusupdates.

Management

  • Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functionalobjectives.

  • Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective sectionobjectives.Support the establishment of Personal Development Plans (PDPu2019s), Succession Planning and Talent pipeline within theDepartmentin coordination with the Human Capital.

Budgets and Operational Plans

  • Compile and provide input for preparation of theDivisionbudgets and regularlymonitorexpenditure against approved theDepartmentbudget levels.

  • Investigate, highlight,and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

  • Implement approved Department policies, processes, systems, standards and proceduresand internal controlsin order tosupport execution of the Department work programs in line with Company and Internationalstandards.

Performance Management

  • Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processesandEncourage employee motivationto continuously improve operations and services.

  • Identifyimprovements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standardsin order todefine intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE)and Sustainability

  • Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures, systems & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across theDepartmentin line with international standards, bestpracticesand ADNOC Code of Practices.

Management Information Systems (MIS) and Reports

  • Prepare allDepartmentMIS and progress reports to provideaccurateandtimelyreports and necessary information to Company Management to effectively manage the business.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

  • Bacheloru2019s degree in mechanical engineeringor equivalent, preferably with an advanced professional degree.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

  • 12years of experiencewith inOil & Gas projects with exposure to various aspects for ProjectQuality Management.

  • Major ProjectQuality Management experience isessential

Professional Certifications

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

  • Accredited for international codes & standards.

  • Certified in welding, coating, corrosion protection, AWS, TWI, NACE, API international certification.
