Senior Specialist (Railway) - Safety Certification & Regulation

Play a critical role in shaping the safety and reliability of Dubai's railway systems. This position leads the development and implementation of safety regulations, certification frameworks, and inspection programs to ensure full compliance with governing laws and international standards.

Responsibilities

You will assess Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) applications, conduct inspections and audits, monitor operator performance, and support incident investigations. The role also contributes to regulatory enforcement, continuous improvement initiatives, and collaboration with technical partners.

We're looking for professionals with strong expertise in railway safety, certification, and assurance frameworks (EN 50126/28/29, RAMS), along with sound engineering judgment and regulatory insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/science discipline such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science
• Must have 8+ years of experience
• Experience in Risk Management Maturity Models
