Job Description

Job Purpose

Drive the transformation of vehicle licensing and registration services by analyzing processes and feedback, and coordinating with competent authorities and partners. Enhance compliance, data accuracy, and customer experience through improvements, experiments, benchmarking, and closure of audit and complaint issues.

Roles and Responsibilities

Accountabilities:

Strategy

  • Contribute to developing and maintaining vehicle licensing service procedures and related transformation initiatives with competent authorities to keep services compliant with approved laws, legislation, and policies.
  • Review licensing and registration processes and controls to verify data correctness and continuous compliance with adopted laws, legislation, policies, and procedures, identifying opportunities for process and digital transformation.
  • Contribute to planning and closing audit points on licensing transactions and violations by analysing root causes and recommending preventive measures with concerned authorities, including process redesign and system enhancements where needed.

Operations

  • Execute follow-up of vehicle registration and licensing processes in the Emirate of Dubai to confirm application of approved laws, legislation, policies, and procedures, supporting the transition towards more automated and streamlined workflows.
  • Coordinate with judicial, traffic, and security authorities on establishing, lifting, and cancelling judicial restrictions on traffic files in line with approved regulations, ensuring alignment with transformed, integrated systems, and processes.
  • Implement and apply special controls and work rules to ensure the collection of violations arising from vehicles and traffic files during the completion of transactions, supporting enhancements to digital channels and backend processes.
  • Prepare and develop legislative drafts and regulatory provisions for vehicle licensing (vehicle registration) activities in line with changes and developments in the Emirate, ensuring they enable future transformation and innovation in licensing services.
  • Follow up implementation of agreements and performance standards with trusted agents and agencies, monitoring their compliance with licensing and registration regulations, and supporting adoption of transformed procedures and service models.

Product / Process Improvement

  • Manage and update vehicle licensing procedures to ensure vehicle data and information recorded in the traffic system remain accurate and reliable, driving continuous process and systems transformation to enhance data quality.
  • Contribute to developing vehicle licensing service procedures with competent authorities by analysing process performance and customer feedback and recommending targeted improvements, including digital, automation, and customer experience transformations.
  • Study complaints, requests, suggestions, and observations related to vehicle registration received through official channels within stipulated periods and propose practical solutions, feeding insights into ongoing transformation initiatives and improvement roadmaps.

Physical Working Conditions

  • Work primarily in an office environment using the Traffic System and related digital tools, transformation platforms, and analytics dashboards, with occasional meetings with internal departments and external authorities as business needs require.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Preferred

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Systems, Industrial, or Systems Engineering
