The project:
This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.
Provides leadership in delivering stakeholder management services across commissions, ensuring effective implementation and guiding team performance within the assigned hub.
This is for Saudi national only.
You'll be responsible for:
Supporting specialist function(s) within the stakeholder management service on assigned commission(s).
Creating/designing effective implementation of stakeholder management framework(s)/strategy(s) on assigned commission(s).
Managing and directing clients, consultants, contractors, and the project team on assigned commission(s) on all relevant stakeholder management service matters.
Partnering with clients to manage and meet expectations and build strong professional relationships.
Providing comprehensive advice to the project team in the administration of relevant stakeholder and communications standards, processes, and tools, including managing risks, issues, and reporting to achieve key objectives and the escalation of performance and management issues.
Facilitating and supporting periodic reporting and structured governance and performance meetings.
Developing functional management strategies, plans, processes, and tools and tracking progress against KPIs.
Working with the stakeholder and communications service director and/or project manager to recognise actions, opportunities and mitigate risks and issues.
Ensuring all activities/operations are carried out in line with Mace control centre, client requirements and prevailing regulation, policy and legislation.
Providing line management to more junior resources and other project staff as required.
Utilising expertise to mentor and assist the personal and career development of junior staff team members.
Managing the integration of the function with all relevant disciplines.
Supporting the hub stakeholder and communications and project controls director with resourcing and recruitment for the assigned commission.
Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree in engineering/management.
Must be a Saudi national.
Experience in a stakeholder management on large-scale projects.
Experience and knowledge of managing communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Extensive knowledge of communication and negotiation principles/tools.
Knowledge of developing communication plans with stakeholders and determining their impact on projects.
Skills in providing on-the-job coaching and training to individuals.
Proficiency in organising and managing meetings, preparing minutes of meeting and following up on recommendations and decisions raised as per the specified time period.
Proficiency in the use of applicable computer programs.
Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
