Job Title: Senior Storage Architect

Location: Bangalore, India/ Remote

More than 15 years of storage experince and 7 years working as an architect.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Storage Architect to lead and support enterprise data migration initiatives to the storage platform. This role will focus on designing, planning, and executing large-scale storage migrations while ensuring data integrity, performance, and minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end data migration activities to the storage platform

Assess existing storage environments and define migration strategies

Design scalable and high-performance storage architectures

Plan and execute data migration, replication, and cutover activities

Ensure data integrity, availability, and security throughout migration lifecycle

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and network teams for seamless integration

Perform risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies for migration challenges

Monitor migration progress and resolve performance or data-related issues

Document architecture, migration plans, and operational procedures

Provide post-migration support and optimization

Required Skills & Experience

15+ years of experience in storage architecture and administration

Strong experience in Pure Storage and enterprise storage platforms (SAN, NAS, Object Storage)

Hands-on experience with large-scale data migration projects

Experience with replication technologies and migration tools

Strong understanding of storage performance tuning and capacity planning

Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

Knowledge of data integrity validation and migration best practices

Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to cloud storage (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Experience in automation/scripting (Shell, Python)

Understanding of enterprise security and compliance standards
