Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our Leica boutique store in Singapore. This individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales performance, managing store operations, and leading a high-performing team. The successful candidate will oversee inventory management, implement retail strategies, ensure operational excellence, and foster a customer-centric environment that reflects the standards of the Leica Camera. The role also includes maintaining compliance with loss prevention practices while driving store profitability and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail boutique.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the retail team to achieve sales and service excellence.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, stock movements, and merchandising standards.
  • Ensure adherence to operational procedures, policies, and loss prevention measures.
  • Analyze sales performance and implement action plans to drive business growth.
  • Maintain the highest standards of store presentation and brand representation.

Qualifications

  • 8 - 10 years of proven Store Management experience, including team leadership, staff development, and day-to-day retail operations oversight.
  • Previous retail management experience in premium or luxury brands, preferably in consumer electronics, photography, or optics.
  • Strong customer-focused skills, with the ability to provide a premium, personalized in-store experience.
  • Experience in Retail Loss Prevention, including adherence to security procedures, stock control, and minimizing shrinkage.
  • Strong sales and results orientation, with the ability to analyze KPIs, drive revenue, and implement action plans.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, coaching team members, and coordinating with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and Excel/basic office tools; Mandarin or other languages a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Singapore, including weekends and retail hours, with a hands-on approach on the sales floor.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
