Imperium Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and supervising structural projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and safety requirements. This role demands strong technical expertise, critical problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with architects, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality, structurally sound projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review detailed structural drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
- Analyze structural components and materials to ensure safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction quality and adherence to design intent.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of structural systems.
- Provide technical guidance on design solutions, construction methodologies, and material selection.
- Ensure compliance with UAE and international building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Prepare and review reports, submittals, and approvals required for planning and building authorities.
- Monitor contractors work, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to project specifications.
- Evaluate existing structures, foundations, and properties to identify conditions and propose solutions.
- Manage contracts, project schedules, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 57 years of proven professional experience in structural engineering, with UAE project experience required.
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural systems, and building materials.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, site supervision, and technical reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capability to work independently when required.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
