Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with 8–14 years of experience in structural design consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering structural engineering designs for commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use, and high-rise developments from concept through detailed design, ensuring compliance with international codes, local authority requirements, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Structural Design
- Design and develop structural systems for various building projects.
- Prepare Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, Tender, and IFC drawings.
- Coordinate structural designs with architectural, MEP, geotechnical, and BIM disciplines.
- Review structural layouts and ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable design codes.
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical coordination meetings.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Structural Analysis & Calculations
Perform and review structural calculations including:
- Structural analysis & design, Wind design, Seismic design, .....etc
BIM / Revit
- Develop and coordinate structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.
- Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and company BIM standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 8–14 years of experience in Structural Design Consultancy.
- Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use, and high-rise developments.
- Experience in the design of reinforced concrete and structural steel is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of international design standards and UAE/KSA authority requirements.
- UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university (Mandatory).
