Raya Smart buildings; one of Raya's subsidiaries is hiring a Senior Supervisor (Accounting).
What will you do
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable & accounts receivable
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) where applicable.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all reconciliations are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Prepare and submit all required tax declarations (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax, payroll tax) in accordance with Egyptian tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of a team fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Assist the Head of Finance Department in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Implement and optimize accounting software and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
What will you need

- Bachelor's degree in Finance
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software Oracle
- Strong understanding of Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- In-depth knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and regulations (Income Tax, VAT, Payroll Tax).
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis tools.
