We're Hiring | Senior Sustainability Engineer (Kuwait)
SEEDS Company SC is seeking a Senior Sustainability Engineer to join our Sustainability and Green Building team in Kuwait.
This role is intended for professionals with hands-on project experience in green building and sustainability consultancy.
Role Overview
- Full-time, Kuwait-based position
- Manage and support sustainability and green building projects from design through construction
- Lead and coordinate green building rating systems including LEED, WELL, EDGE and similar frameworks
- Support carbon management, decarbonization strategies, and sustainability performance improvement initiatives
- Prepare, review, and submit technical documentation, calculations, and online platform forms
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and third-party reviewers to ensure successful project delivery including ongoing project site visits
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related field
- LEED Accredited Professional (mandatory)
- 35 years of relevant experience in sustainability or green building consultancy
- Proven project experience with green building certification projects
- Strong project coordination, documentation, and technical writing skills
Important: Candidates holding sustainability or green building certificates without real project experience will not be interviewed.
Added Value
- Experience with WELL, EDGE, or other green building rating systems
- Experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and carbon management
- Experience or familiarity with energy modeling, auditing and building performance simulations
- Experience supporting decarbonization and net-zero strategies
- Familiarity with GCC / MENA project environments
